The Gaia Institute
A downloadable table-top game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
The Gaia Institute For Human Betterment is an exploratory, short, narrative table-top role playing game. You and a group of friends are shadowy, ambiguous government agents sent to the Nevada Desert to find and shut down an underground testing facility, abandoned 50 years ago...
Gaia is a mixture of horror and comedy, with easy to understand action mechanics and six classes for the players to make their own. The game lends itself to a single, short, fast-paced session, and requires only a handful of six-sided dice with the short pdf gamebook attached.
Explore randomly generated rooms, face scientific abominations, roll for your character's driving motivation (or hidden secret, using one of Gaia's optional Game Variations, which encourage re-playing, and tailoring the experience to what you want out of it). Gaia is loose enough to fit into any veteran role-playing group's dynamic, and easy enough for anyone else to pick up and test the waters with this short, fun TTRPG.
